MDT MeetingMulti-Disciplinary Team Staffings (MDT)
DNLCC professionals work with community agency partners involved in a particular case - including medical, legal, law enforcement, educators, social services, Guardian Ad Litems, and mental health- to take appropriate action as quickly as possible. The MDT staffings provide multidisciplinary professional input into the assessment of needs and the development of safety and treatment plans. Recommendations regarding protection, case management, prosecution and needed services are made by the staffing team and the progress of each case is monitored by the MDT process. MDT staffings are a mechanism for ensuring appropriate services to the clients of DNLCC and is an available resource for the management of any other child case in our community.  If a child needs to be protected, a plan is put in place.
