Many thanks to everyone who attended this fifth annual conference.  It was designed to facilitate new understanding and upgrade professional practice in the prevention, recognition/diagnosis, management, and legal handling of child abuse cases. This year, the theme was Empowering and Strengthening of the Child and Family: A Trauma-Informed Perspective.

We are honored to name this annual conference for Dr. Sara Schuh, the MUSC Pediatrician who is a pioneer in the field of child abuse pediatrics. She continues to this day to promote clinical excellence and inter-disciplinary care to children affected by concerns of child abuse and neglect.
